Prayer 9: For Life-giving Presence

1 John, John, Praise

Gracious Father, we want to stop a moment and bask in your incredible redeeming love. We remember well when we were dead spiritually. You loved us and Christ died for us so that we might live, truly live today and for eternity. What a blessing!

Father, etch even deeper in our heart the hope and joy we have in Christ. Because of your love and sacrifice, we are firmly secured in the powerful grip of your right hand.

Jesus, You speak to us and we hear your voice. Bless us with an ever-increasing awareness of your life-giving presence. Thank you that we are secure and can never be snatched out of your hand. Thank you that you intimately commune with us saturating us with your adoring love, a peace that surpasses all human understanding, faith that comes from you, and your supernatural power. Give us hearts to hear and faith to trust.

Grant us indescribable joy and courage overflowing out of a resolute assurance that now and forever our lives are fully entrusted and safeguarded in the hands of a good and faithful God. No trial can capsize us, and no fear can dominate us. No! Not even physical death can contain us. Continue to remind us that we are genuinely loved, purposefully created, supernaturally empowered, and eternally secure. May the powerful name of Christ be raised high above all.

In Christ,

Blessings!

John 28:27-30
27 My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”

John 17:3
Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

I John 5:13
I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

The work of Christ is more powerful than any fleshly desire… able to demolish strongholds and set us free.
