Come Stand in Prayer Together!
As Moses, Aaron and Hur joined in prayer for Joshua and the Israelite army (Exodus 17: 8 ‑ 16), we too must pray for one another to experience Christ’s presence, his peace, strength, wisdom, and direction in all aspects of our lives. Stand together by praying God’s powerful promises for one another unleashing his incredible love, incomprehensible power, and immeasurable blessings that will brand the earth for His glory. This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. (1 John 5:14)

Prayer 67: Beatitudes: Blessed are the Pure at Heart
Gracious Father, as we pray through the beatitudes, our desperate need is amplified for Christ’s sanctifying power to supernaturally transform our hearts and minds for His glory. We thank you for the positional purity that we have been given right now by the imputation of the righteousness of Christ. For that we stand secure and at peace with you.
Regarding sanctification, your precious word soberly reminds us that a pure heart should be a kingdom quality within the lives of your children manifested by your Spirit.
Help! We find ourselves embattled against our flesh along with powers and principalities and falling woefully short of this expected outcome. Rather than pure-hearted, we often find ourselves distracted, misdirected, and many times just self-absorbed and completely missing the mark of inward purity. And yet, it is the pure at heart that see you. Only you, Lord, can miraculously bring purity to the motives of our heart. For this we cry out.
Father, on the deepest spiritual level, bless us by transforming our heart and desires into what is pure and good in your eyes. Continually give us singleness of heart, wholly reliant upon Christ alone that manifests supernatural integrity and Christ-empowered foundational attitudes.
We desire to live every moment with laser focus on you, continually experiencing your presence, our minds fixed on your transforming truth, and sincerely seeking your mind, heart, direction, and glory. Replace mad fleshly chases with a focus on holiness.
Replace futile attempts to build our own kingdoms with broken and contrite hearts intent on establishing Christ’s kingdom. Replace religious showmanship with sincerity of heart and Christ-glorifying ministry. Replace a life filled with worldly distraction with Christ-minded concentration. Rescue us from duplicity and double mindedness.
Father, create in us a clean heart. We desire to be cleansed from all defilement of flesh and spirit, asking for perfecting holiness in our reverent fear. Empower us to guard our hearts, knowing everything you do flows from it.
No doubt, our confidence only flows by faith and from the promise that you, Lord Jesus, are at work in us, giving us the desire and the power to do what pleases our Mighty God. May we be people of faith with ever increasing purity of heart.
In Christ,
Blessings!
