Gracious Father, in the best way we know how, we wholeheartedly desire to depend on and trust in you alone. You, The Holy, Almighty, and Omniscient One, are trustworthy. You are sacrificially faithful, intimately available, and sincerely interested in us, all driven by your indescribable love. On the other hand, we are in a constantly embattled state, struggling to trust you rather than our own fleshly understanding. Lord Jesus, rescue us moment by moment from self-dependence, giving us a desperate and pliable heart eager to listen, trust, and walk according to your truth that always sets us free.
Lord Jesus, bless us with an unquenchable hunger and thirst to experience you intimately. May we know your love, desires, power, and direction which promise to bring glory to you and a powerful sense of intimacy, identity, and spiritual influence on our lives.
