Prayer 57: Christ, A Savior Who Cares

Hope in Christ Alone, John, Romans

Gracious Father, we marvel at your love for us. Jesus intimately knows our inmost needs and tenderly feels our pain. Experiencing Christ and his personal interest, understanding, and gentle care leaves us speechless. Thank you for the supernatural peace, comfort, and assurance yielded through Christ’s presence.

Holy Spirit, out of our abundance, would you spill out on others this Christ-like interest, tenderness, and deep care for others. Slow us down, give us your discerning eyes and ears to see and hear the heart-cry of others, and bless us with whole-hearted attitudes and actions to rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. May we point others to a hope in Christ through these tender actions and care.

In Christ,

Blessings!

John 11:35
35 Jesus wept.

Romans 12:15
15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.

Amazing! We enter His throne room as sons and daughters. We are warriors for the King of Kings. We are no different than Moses, David, Nehemiah, Ruth, Isaiah, Peter, or Paul… just different people living in a different era… but serving the same God who displays His love and power as he unveils His miraculous redemptive plan. History is unfolding as we speak... and we are a chosen part of His redeeming work. We have the ear of our great God. We are participants in His mighty redeeming work. We are invited to commune… to draw near unto Him. We are invited to seek. We are invited to ask. We, as the children of God, hold in our hands the honor to prompt God to move for His glory. Our God acts on these requests showering down lightning bolts of blessings. Can one estimate the privilege of prayer? Go! Go Now! Enjoy! Experience Him. Know that your Abba Father awaits your visit.
