Prayer 22: For Indescribable Hope

1 Corinthians, Intercession: Life and Leadership

Gracious Father, oh, what a glorious day for us to celebrate our hope of eternal life found in Christ: forever with Him and forever blessed. Let us celebrate!

Father, this incredible blessing overwhelms us with joy while bolstering our clear call to point others to a hope only found in Christ.

Lord Jesus, there is no greater honor or higher call than to serve you. We pray that your Spirit would continue to overwhelm us with profound realization of your indescribable love for us and the incomprehensible power that you promise to exert in and through our lives for your glory. As we find our hope in you, use us to define our culture for Christ’s glory rather than the culture defining us.

Lord Jesus, bless us with laser focus on you and your personal call on our lives to impact others for Christ’s glory. Give us unshakable perseverance able to identify and plow through distractions as we experience your daily guidance while always keeping our eyes on the prize and pressing into it. No matter the circumstances, fill us with hope knowing our investment will bear eternal blessing.

Father, what an honor to serve you! May we work diligently and engage, fully finding ourselves ignited with confidence and courage as we prayerfully anticipate supernatural blessing in laboring for your glory.

In Christ.,

Blessings!

1 Corinthians 15:54-58
When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: Death has been swallowed up in victory.

Where, O death, is your victory?

Where, O death, is your sting?

The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

The work of Christ was for one purpose… To redeem man for God’s glory. This incredible act of love redeemed man from a broken relationship with God restoring a uniquely personal relationship. (Pg. 84- Mistaken Identity)
