Gracious Father, as your beloved children, we thank you that you have placed within us a deep awareness that true satisfaction is only derived through experiencing your constant presence. Looking after every aspect of our lives, Christ Jesus, you asked the Father to send your Hoy Spirit, the Spirit of righteousness and truth, as our advocate to care for us forever. While the world cannot see him or know him and will deny his existence, we know him because he lives in us. You did not leave your disciples as orphans nor leave us after accepting you as our own. You sent your Spirit as a deposit guaranteeing what is to come. Amazing!
Holy Spirit, you are our constant companion, intercessor, comforter, guide, disciplinarian, provider of peace, righteous judge, and exude indescribable power. We are never out of your sight, distant to your wisdom and protective hand, or away from your love. Truly you are our paraclete, always beside us. You are always “doing life” with us and perfectly loving us. You are closer to us than our very own breath. We are your temple. You indwell us and ignite within us Christ-empowered love and compassion, empowerment of massive proportion, guidance with wisdom and assurance, strength in weakness, spiritual fruit, and spiritual gifts—All for Christ’s Glory!
Father, bless us with greater awareness and faithful response to your Spirit.
Thank you, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!
Blessings!
John 14:16-21
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you. 18 I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. 20 On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21 Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. The one who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them.”

7 Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8 To one there is given through the Spirit a message of wisdom, to another a message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9 to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10 to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
